10-4 HaulerGuides

A trucking invoice app that builds invoices from your loads

You already typed the load number, the miles and the rate when you logged the job. You shouldn't have to type it all again to get paid. 10-4 Hauler turns your jobs into clean PDF invoices, emails them to your brokers and customers, and keeps track of what's paid and what's late.

Plans start at $5 a month per truck, 30-day free trial, no card needed.

Set up once

On the Invoices tab, open Invoice settings and fill in your business name, address, phone and email. Add your logo if you have one. Pick your usual payment terms: due on receipt, Net 15, Net 30 or Net 45. Invoices start at number 1001, or you can carry on from the numbers you already use.

Factoring? Add your Remit To

If you factor your invoices, fill in Remit to once with your factoring company's name, address and any notes. Every invoice then tells your customer to send payment there, so you don't have to remember to change it by hand.

Make an invoice from your jobs

Tap Create invoice on a job, or New invoice on the Invoices tab. Pick the customer. Your brokers are already listed, and you can add a shipper or anyone else, and their billing address and email are saved for next time. Then tick the jobs to bill.

Each job becomes a line with its date, job type, load number, description, total miles, tons, hours or loads, rate and amount. Fuel surcharge and broker fee get their own lines. Need to add something? There are buttons for detention, lumper, fuel surcharge, layover or any other charge. The due date is figured from your terms.

A job can only be on one invoice. Once it's billed, the job shows which invoice it's on, so nothing gets billed twice or missed.

Send it as a PDF or by email

Track paid and overdue

When money comes in, tap Mark paid and enter the date, the amount and how you were paid: ACH, check, factoring or other. Part payments are fine; the rest stays open. Every invoice shows where it stands:

The top of the Invoices tab shows your total unpaid and how late it is: current, 1 to 30 days, 31 to 60 days and over 60 days. Filter by status or customer, or search by invoice number. Invoices and payments are in your Excel export too.

Part of the whole picture

Invoicing sits next to everything else in 10-4 Hauler: jobs with pay figured for you, expenses and receipt photos, and profit for each truck. You see what you billed, what came in, and what each truck kept. 10-4 Hauler only records payments. It never takes or sends money, and it doesn't ask for your bank account. Only the account owner sees invoices; driver logins don't.

Common questions

Can I email invoices to brokers from the app?

Yes. Email sends the PDF from info@10-4hauler.com with your business name on it, and replies go to your own email. You can also download the PDF and send it yourself.

Does it work with a factoring company?

Yes. Fill in Remit to in Invoice settings and every invoice tells your customer to send payment to your factoring company. When you record a payment, you can mark it as factoring.

Does 10-4 Hauler collect payments for me?
