10-4 Hauler is built to be used by every trucker, including those who use a screen reader, keyboard, magnifier, or voice control. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- Every button and field can be reached with a keyboard, and whatever is focused gets a thick yellow outline.
- Form fields have written labels, and sign-in and sign-up errors are spelled out in words, not shown by color alone.
- Save status and pop-up messages are announced to screen readers.
- Pages are built for phone width first and reflow when you zoom in.
- We follow your device's dark mode and reduced-motion settings.
- Every figure on screen is also available as plain numbers in the Excel export.
Where we're still working
Some parts aren't there yet, and we'd rather say so than claim otherwise:
- Wide tables scroll sideways on small screens. They're readable, but not ideal with a screen magnifier.
- Some charts and color cues show information visually. The same figures are in the tables and the Excel export.
- We're still checking color contrast on every screen, in both light and dark mode, against the AA standard.
- The section tabs and a "skip to main content" link are next on our list for screen reader and keyboard users.
Tell us if something blocks you
If any part of 10-4 Hauler is hard or impossible for you to use, email info@10-4hauler.com. Describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and include the device and any assistive technology you use if you can. We aim to reply within three business days, and we'll work with you to get you the information or the function you needed in the meantime.
How this was assessed
We review 10-4 Hauler ourselves against WCAG 2.1 AA, checking color contrast, keyboard operation, form labels, headings, and phone-width layout. This statement is updated when the site changes. It hasn't yet been reviewed by an outside accessibility auditor.
